If you want a peaceful and nature filled family camping trip in Minnesota, then you might want to visit The Pines Resort!

This family friendly campground has not only 8 RV campsites and five seasonal campsites all set in a wooded shoreline along Lake Winnibigoshish, but they also have 12 cabins perfect for those families who want something a bit more like "home".

The Pines Resort is a great place to go if you love nature and water activities. Lake Winnie is one of the area's best fishing lakes, and there are a number of great species in there for you to catch, including bass and panfish!

The lake is also home to the state record Muskie - now that's impressive!

The resort have boat and motor rental for you too, so you don't have to worry about a thing! They can also look after the gas, oil, bait....you name it!

But, back to the resort! Those cabins range from two to five bedrooms, and all have the modern conveniences that you love, including kitchens, and a picnic table to enjoy that tasty food! There is also wifi in the cabins and around the campsite (kids, that doesn't mean you can be on your phones the whole time!)

There are SO many activities for the family at The Pines Resort! You can spend the day out on the canoe, or kids will love using up all of that energy on the children's playground. There are great trails for hiking and biking in the area, and even historical and cultural attractions nearby.

Nature fun at it's best at The Pines Resort - get in early, they book up!

What is there to do?

There is SO much to do! Fishing, hiking, biking, volleyball, swim raft, and a kids playground too. There are boat rentals, and nearby attractions fun to explore. There is also a games room. They even have ice fishing in winter!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at The Pines Resort?

The cabins have kitchens, and the sites have picnic tables and fire pits so you can cook up a storm if you like! They have a snack bar with microwave foods, as drinks.

Any top tips when visiting?

Keep an eye out for wildlife - there are wolves, moose and bears - great to try and spot them!

How are the facilities at the attraction?

They offer 8 RV sites in a beautiful setting next to one of Minnesota's premier walleye fisheries. Their facilities are clean and modern and include full-hookups with water, sewer and electric. In addition, there are two full bathrooms with showers in the Lodge.
