Kids LOVE to play, and why wouldn't they - it's FUN! So why wouldn't you have a kids museum where they can play, create and learn all day? Oh wait - they do!
San Diego Children's Discovery Museum is a super fun and interactive experience for kids FILLED with exhibits where they can learn through play - win win for parents and kids!
Each exhibit is different, and allows the kids to learn and explore something new, and develop their various senses. The Exploration Area is perfect for kids to explore different cultures that we have in our world, as they learn about pattern recognition, contrasts, and comparing. It's great for their observation, communication skills and cultural understanding.
For those little ones in the family, Toddler Tidepool is perfect for those kids under 3, so they can have a chance to explore and play in a safe area away from the intimidation from the older kids. They can play among the foam blocks, climbing structures and develop their problem solving skills and observation skills.
The Imagination Stage lets kids creatively grow as they expand their abstract thinking skills, as well as their language development. Of course with the Experiment station there are so many areas where kids can really develop their various skills that they will need for life!
Did we even mention the Discovery station! This is actually a garden where kids can experience a hands-on and interactive space which is designed to teach kids to participate in the outdoors and interact with their surroundings. They will learn all about environmental science, as well as conversation through the exhibits! Great for them to learn about healthy eating too!
