Make It, Waterville is a DIY art studio in the heart of downtown Waterville. Our studio contains tables for painting pottery, a giftshop and a wet clay studio. We specialize in paint your own pottery

Walk-ins are welcome. Please call ahead for parties of 6 or larger. We also host birthday parties and private events. 

We use Mayco Stroke and Coat glazes and items are fired to 1888° and ready to pick-up in 5-7 days. Shipping is available. 

We also offer wheel throwing pottery classes and a giftshop with local makers. Handmade soap, crochet items, t-shirts and more!

Make It, Waterville was founded by Patty Salmon. The building was formally a pharmacy. Patty and her husband remodeled the building into studio space. Besides the wet clay studio, there is also a wood working area.

Patty has a BA in Art and a BFA in Art History from the University of Kansas. She and her husband moved to Southern Minnesota in 2008 and to Waterville in 2018. Patty's grandmother was a life long resident of Waterville. Patty grew up visiting the Waterville area.

Waterville is home to many campgrounds and resorts and is situated between Lake Tetonka and Lake Sakatah.
