About Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach is a hidden gem and is located between Los Angeles and San Diego. You'll find seven miles of coves and beaches where you can explore sea caves, tide pools, sandy beaches and much more, it's a great place to go to spend time with the family!

Laguna Beach is renown for its pristine waters, abundant sea life and of course, perfect beaches. The beaches do have opening times, so make sure to check the website for the beach hourses, and there are dog friendly beaches too, so your pets don't need to miss out! 

Tide pools are found in intertidal zones, and you'll get to see an amazing array of underwater marine life including octopus, snails, mussels and much more! The best tide pools are located at main beach, shaw's cove, thousand steps and woods cove.

The beaches are family-friendly, with wide stretches of sand which are great for building castles! There's also shallow waters too, and you can rent a boogie board too where you can ride the waves. 

Another idea for your family adventure can include embarking ona whales and dolphin watching too! It reaches its peak from November to April where you'll see lots of creatures. If your family prefers to stay on land, then there are easy traild that loops around the visitors center as well as access to other walking paths suitable for children.
