Where are we going today?

The ocean is a magical and mysterious place, and Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching give families the opportunity to experience the marvels of nature first hand!

First up - fishing trips!

For all of those fishing lovers in the family who thought ocean fishing was something just for professionals - think again!

These guys can take you out any time of year, on a group fishing tour, and it doesn't matter how young or old you are, or how experienced you are.  From the novice in the family to the seasoned angler, they will look after you!

The types of fish you will catch vary on the season and the water temperature, but if you are lucky you could catch Halibut, Sand Bass, Yellowtail - or even Tuna!  The fun part is not knowing what you are going to reel in!

There are 4 boats that you can choose from, and all offer a tasty full galley with hot and cold food, and a variety of drinks.

Don't have fishing gear? No problem!  They have them there to rent!

And from the little fish to the big fish - Whale Watching!

Seeing a whale in the wild for the first time is an incredible feeling,  and from October to April your family can get out onto the ocean waters and get up close with these magical creatures!

Depending on the season you could spot Minke whales, Humpbacks or even the mighty Blue whale - that's the worlds biggest mammal!

These 2 or 2.5 hour trips might even bring you close to playful pods of dolphins and sea lions, as well as other marine life.

An incredible experience with nature!
