Lookout Mountain is not only in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, it also has a super fun incline railway that the whole family can enjoy! 

"What's at the top?" we hear you ask. Well, we're glad you did ask! When at the top, there are a number of Civil War points of interest, which is great for those kids expanding their already amazing education. There are museums and parks, and all just a few blocks from the top station!

It's not just at the top that Lookout Mountain has fun attractions to offer. At the bottom in St. Elmo, there are shops, restaurants, and unique attractions like homemade candle-making!

Then there is the ride itself. Known as "America's Most Amazing Mile", the Incline Railway lets you ride in the fun trolley-style cars that take you through the amazing beauty of Lookout Mountain, and give you a chance to learn all about the history.

Don't forget about the incline - at 72.7% grade straight up - it's quite a ride! There are scenic views of the mountains, and of course the views from the observation station at the top.

Chattanooga is a very cool city, so why not get to the top of it’s world and check it out on a much grander scale! The kids will love the incline of the tracks, and it certainly something that they won’t be forgetting in a hurry!
