I attended the Adult Puppet Slam back in January or December. Very clever show and certainly an ADULT venue. The Gingerbread Man 50 Shades of Gray was very clever.

I was imagining a cute theater- this was a 2×4 frame covered with plain black fabric. I thought there would be painted backgrounds or props- nope! Just 3 goats and a troll and a bridge. I thought the story would be enhanced since the site said it would be an hour long. Nope- we sang songs to shake out wiggles, and “ring around the rosie” and “if you’re happy and you know it” The woman who was the narrator was also the one who sang and played the music and did 90 percent of all talking and acting. My 5 year old loved it. My 4 year old thought it was boring about halfway through. I felt that 20 dollars for the three of us was a bit much. It was also a larger audience than I expected, there were several families and 120 first graders to see some 10 inch tall puppets.Skip this particular attraction and go to the zoo.
