What is there to do?

What would a trip to Florida be without an authentic alligator experience? What better place to see these snap happy creatures than at South Florida's OLDEST alligator farm? Yes, we're talking about Everglades Alligator Farm!

Home to around 2,000 beautiful alligators, here kids can come face to face with these amazing creatures, as well as see alligator shows and feedings.

There is always something going on every hour at Everglades Alligator Farm. 

Throughout the farm, the smaller alligators are kept in growout pens and the larger alligators are in natural settings called breeding ponds.

There is also a great display of local snakes along with some of the more exotic species of snakes from around the world. Keep an eye out for those fun snake shows too!

What's also great about this popular Florida attraction are the airboat tours! Yes, those iconic airboat rides through the Everglades can be checked off your bucket list.

The rides are around 20 to 25 minutes, and it's a fun way to try and spot even more local wildlife, from fish, turtles, birds, and yes, alligators.

How much does it cost?

Adults: $19.50, or $27 with airboat ride

Children: $14.50, or $19.50 with airboat ride (Ages 4 to 11)

Any top tips?

Airboats are really loud, to protect kids ears, and be aware if kids are afraid of loud noises. You may also get wet so a second set of clothes might come in handy!
