Butterfly World is a charming, colorful and exciting experience for the kids.
Kids can learn all about these beautiful creatures as they see them up close with their own eyes. An amazing learning experience as they uncover the life cycle of the butterfly, and why they have those patterns on their wings!
The sparkle of iridescent wings guides you down flower-lined pathways, past waterfalls, and up to a cave from which blossoms and tropical mist descend.
Don't miss the live bug zoo, and Witness the Miracle of Metamorphosis as caterpillars munch, chrysalises wait, and new butterflies try their wings for the very first time!
But it's not just butterflies at Butterfly World. Kids can hear the song of tropical hummingbirds and the unmistakable call of the giant macaw.

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Butterfly World?
There are two outdoor cafes with snacks, beverages, ice cream and lunch items.
Any top tips when visiting?
They recommend at least two to three hours to take a leisurely walk through the park, but many stay all day!
Does Butterfly World have a gift shop?
The Gift Shop houses an amazing collection of Butterfly, Hummingbird and Nature related decor gifts, jewelry, clothing, books, and so much more, for all ages!
Teachers corner
Their expert guides will lead your student “explorers” through the entire life cycle of the butterfly as it occurs. You may even see a butterfly laying eggs! They Research Laboratory presents the most unique larva and pupa from our butterfly farm in a display that changes daily. Finally, Adult butterflies are THE star attraction in each of our 3 giant “open air” aviaries, brimming with tens of thousands of “rain forest flyers”! What a way to bring your school group to life! Just give them a call to book!
Does Butterfly World have healthy eating or Vegan options?
Picnic areas are available just outside in Tradewinds Park if you want to pack your own lunch. No outside food or drink is allowed within the park
