What is there to do?

Flamingo Gardens & Wildlife Sanctuary is a 60 acres of beautiful botanical gardens, filled with thousands of rare, exotic and native plants that live among Florida’s largest collection of Champion Trees.

Flamingo Gardens is also home to a number of gorgeous creatures within the wildlife sanctuary, and YOU can visit!

Whilst you can enjoy a self-guided tour within the gardens, they offer free narrated tram tours throughout the day, that can take you on a journey through the wetlands, hardwood hammock and rainforest areas.

It's during this tour you can also enjoy those animal encounters we know you love!  Kids can visit alligators, river otters, bobcats, panthers and flamingos in the Everglades nature center.

Don't miss a trip to feed the 70 species of Florida native birds in the Free-Flight Aviary. At 25,000 sq ft, it's home to one of the LARGEST collections of wading birds in the entire country!

Also included in your admission is a visit to the 1930’s Wray Home Museum, giving you a fascinating insight into life nearly 100 years ago! Why not throw in a little history into your day?

Flamingo Gardens is a must for a family day in the sunshine. Wildlife Encounter Shows are daily and give you an up close and personal look at some of their animal friends. It's also a great chance for kids to learn even more about these wonderful creatures, and ask all the questions they want!
