St Nectans Glen is home to some of the most fascinating and downright extraordinary history. From tales of fairies to king Arthur and his knights and even ghostly tales this place is a must-visit for you and the kids. A place where you can let your imagination run wild, you don't want to miss it.
If tales of fairies, pixies and ghouls aren't quite your speed then you should not be disappointed in the breathtaking waterfalls. Over the centuries the river Trevillet carved its way through the Devonian slate creating a magnificent 60-foot waterfall. The site is also home to unique rocks and stone structures, unlike anything you can find elsewhere. St Nectan’s Glen’s woodland walk to the waterfalls sits almost as high as the actual waterfalls do on the list of things you must do on your visit. With picturesque scenery and stunning natural beauty, it really will take your breath away.
You obviously can't spend all of your time exploring when you visit, that's why they have the amazing Tree of life cafe where you can sit and relax before or after your visit. Sit back relax and enjoy a selection of cornish creams, tea, biscuits and sandwiches.
