Lakeland Climbing Centres is a state-of-the-art climbing facility located in Cumbria, in the heart of the stunning Lake District. This fantastic centre has been designed to provide an immersive, enjoyable and safe climbing experience for climbers of all levels and ages.
The facility offers a range of climbing walls, including top rope, lead, and auto-belay climbing, as well as bouldering and a dedicated training area. The top rope walls offer climbs ranging from 7 meters to 25 meters in height, with a variety of angles and routes to suit all levels of climbing ability.
The lead climbing walls provide a more challenging and dynamic climbing experience, with a range of routes for experienced climbers to test their skills. The auto-belay systems make it possible for solo climbers to climb without a partner, adding an extra level of flexibility to the climbing experience.
The bouldering area is designed for those who enjoy more dynamic, technical, and strength-based climbing. The centre boasts one of the largest and most varied bouldering facilities in the UK, with over 100 problems ranging from beginner to expert level.
For those who are new to climbing or require some extra guidance, Lakeland Climbing Centres offers a range of introductory courses, private lessons and coaching sessions with experienced and qualified instructors. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn the basics of climbing, improve technique, or develop a personal training plan.
