Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre is perfect for active fun.Their fitness suite has been designed to create a comfortable, modern and welcoming environment for you to enjoy. You can either join up as a member or use the suite on a casual basis, whichever is best for you. They have 3 outdoor pools which open in mid April and close in early September. These include a 25 metre pool, learner pool and paddling pool with fun toys for toddlers and babies! All of their pools are heated and are constantly supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times. There is also a giant flume which operates at regular intervals during the day during public sessions.

It boasts a large range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment and has a free weight station. It also offers full size trampolines, 4 badminton courts, a full size tennis court, volleyball court, 5 a-side football, netball and short tennis. They also have gymnastics, indoor cricket nets and carpet bowls equipment. Their sports hall can be hired for other types of activity and for many different uses.
