What is there to do?

Formerly known as Cairns Wildlife Safari Reserve, the Shambala Animal Kingdom is home to exotic and native species including some of the more recognisable varieties for younger children, such as lions, rhinoceroses, monkeys, hippoptami, ostriches and bears.

There are a lot more than that here though, and the walk around naturalistic ecnlosures have hard surfaced paths suitable for wheel and push chairs.

There are also extensive bird and reptile exhibits, plus meet the keeper events and daily presentations and shows from professionals.
