What is there to do?

Feeling the heat of that Australian sun? Well, why don't you visit somewhere that you can enjoy a cool down - with great views of the ocean!

The Newcastle Ocean Baths are a series of year round accessible shoreline tidal pools, that actually use the ocean water, so it's a great introduction for kids who haven't yet ventured out into the ocean yet! Of course, it's great for those kids who have, too!

Newcastle Ocean Baths use cleaned, but still unheated, ocean water, so if you have wet suits or thermal swimming suits for the kids, that might be a great option just so they can get used to the temperature!

It's ocean swimming without those currents, and those ocean creatures that the kids might be nervous of!

What's also great about the Newcastle Ocean Baths is that they offer a year round lifeguard, so you know that whenever you visit, there will be someone there on had to look out for your kids who can just focus on having a great time in the water!

During the winter, there are swimming clubs that train in the baths, so if your kids really fall in love with ocean swimming, then why not look into joining the clubs!

Grab those towels, those hats and that sunscreen, because there are some amazing views waiting, with fun swimming at these Newcastle Ocean Baths - let's make a SPLASH!
