Where are we going today?
Kids - we know that Florida sun can be pretty hot, so what you need is a place that you can cool off, make a splash, and just have a great time in the water!
We are talking about Calypso Cove Aquatic Center, a fun community style aquatic center in Margate, Florida.
Calypso Cove Aquatic Center has not one, but THREE swimming pools that you can enjoy, so whatever your goal from this COOL family day out, you will be able to find it! If there are those thrill seekers in the family, you can head to the plunge pool - and yes, there will be plunges!
You can make your entrance as you slide in from the enclosed slides, or the open slides, and what better way to start your water fun filled day!
For those little ones, there is a zero-depth pool that is a beach-entry activity pool, complete with water spraying animals! Kids can play among the palm threes, and even get active on their very own play structure.
If you need a little rest from all that water fun, there is a deck area too, with lawn chairs and umbrellas, perfect for shady fun for sunny adventure!
Then, of course, the last pool at Calypso Cove Aquatic Center is the six-lane lap pool where you can practice those swimming strokes, and also enjoy family swimming too.
The center is located in the Royal Palm Park, and boasts a fun Caribbean theme, so kids can use their imaginations as they bask in the island life!
