The most popular activity at Sawgrass Recreation Park, however, is of course those Airboat Rides! There are a number of tours for you to choose from - and they start at 30 minutes in duration however they can be extended to however long you want! 

There are Daytime Adventures to enjoy, as well as Nighttime Adventures which add a whole new angle as you experience the Everglades! The Nighttime Adventures last for 60 minutes, and the experienced Captain will tell you fascinating facts - like how the Seminole and panther one coexisted in this amazing area.

You will also catch glimpses of incredible wildlife - some that are endangered - as you skim across what sometimes looks like grass but is actually water! It's a great way for kids to learn about wildlife and nature, and the importance of looking after the environment too.

When you purchase a ticket to the airboat, that gets you into the exhibit areas too. Here, you can check out exhibits on amazing reptiles, the beautiful glades themselves, and the exotic wildlife that surrounds you!
