Where are we going today?
The SA Museum is an educational treat with fascinating displays suited for viewing by all the family.
Five floors of exhibits cover fossils, mammals, Ancient Egypt, special exhibition spaces and more plus Aboriginal and Pacific Cultures collections.
There are a great many features which will captivate children including a giant squid whose body spans four floors on it's own dangling in an elevator shaft.

10am to 5pm every day except Xmas Day and Good Friday.
Education Officers from the Department for Education and Child Development can facilitate your students' learning and engagement with the museum's unique collections and programs..

Offering a full range of books, cards, gifts, jewellery, toys, cultural artefacts and fossils, the Museum Shop is well stocked..

I use to visit the art gallery every sunday when i was little. Now i don't go as often however when i visited it last week i was very surprised with the great display of the South Australian Animals. It's great seeing new exhibitions in the museum. Thank You!

Very cool, lots and lots of stuff. My favourites would have to be the variety of animals from every continent on the ground level and the squid which extends upwards across all four stories of the museum. Definitely recommended.
