Where are we going today?

The SA Museum is an educational treat with fascinating displays suited for viewing by all the family.

Five floors of exhibits cover fossils, mammals, Ancient Egypt, special exhibition spaces and more plus Aboriginal and Pacific Cultures collections.

There are a great many features which will captivate children including a giant squid whose body spans four floors on it's own dangling in an elevator shaft.

A good museum especially when you compare it to others in Australia and those overseas....but look at the pittance their government funding is -what they manage to do with it is extraordinary. ..

Very cool, lots and lots of stuff. My favourites would have to be the variety of animals from every continent on the ground level and the squid which extends upwards across all four stories of the museum. Definitely recommended.
