Camp Summit

Welcome to Camp Summit's Creative Arts Camp! Situated in the heart of Thornton, Colorado, this summer camp is an ideal destination for children aged 3-10 who have a passion for the arts. Our camp offers a wide range of introductory courses that allow children to explore various creative outlets, including music education, vocal choir, performance bells, photography, mixed media art, drawing, painting, journaling, dance, improv, imagination, claymation, film studies, and much more.

At Camp Summit, kids will have the chance to dive into the world of music genres, learn exciting dance routines, and develop their improv skills. The camp encourages creativity in every form, providing a nurturing environment where children can discover and nurture their artistic talents. Whether your child is interested in the visual arts or performing arts, our camp provides numerous opportunities to explore their passions!

Our Creative Arts Camp runs for three weeks during the summer—June, July, and August—and is affordably priced at just $100 per student per week. Children can attend for one week or join us for all three weeks of fun and learning. With camp dates from June 20th-24th, July 25th-29th, and August 1st-5th, registration is open until a month before each camp session. Be sure to sign up early, as space is limited to 60 students per camp!

We are committed to making our camps accessible to all children. Camp Summit offers scholarships for families in need. Additionally, we invite local businesses to support our mission through sponsorships, which help keep our costs affordable. Camp Summit is proudly part of the north-Denver community, operating out of Summit of Peace, a Lutheran church located off 136th & Colorado in Thornton. After previously running as a sports and music camp in 2018 and 2019, we took a break to prioritize safety during the pandemic. Now, we are excited to bring back our Creative Arts Camp and look forward to being a source of joy and creativity for your family this year!
