Wilson Park is so much more than just your average park! This popular park in Compton isn't huge, but it makes up for it in activities! Are you ready to hear about your next family day out? How about we start with the fact there is nearly 4 acres of park space to enjoy? That means plenty of room for kids to run around, play, and enjoy the great outdoors!

The picnic area is perfect for a family lunch under the California sun. Pack your favorite sandwiches, snacks, and drinks, and enjoy a lovely picnic surrounded by nature. It's a wonderful way to relax and recharge before diving into more park fun!

Now kids, we know you will like the next bit. The skate park! Wilson Park is renowned for its skatepark, where kids can learn new tricks and skate until their heart's content. The outer ring boasts ledges, elevation changes, euro gaps, rails, transitions, wallrides, and a corner pyramid. At the center of the park is a nice kidney bowl. The kidney turns left and is topped with steel coping. It's also all downhill and plenty fast!

Another great feature of this park is that it is built in progression. If kids want to work on ledges, they will find one that is easy to gain confidence on. All the gnarly ledges are the same height and have flat ground examples for pumping themselves up as well.

Did we mention that Wilson Park also has a kids and toddler playground to enjoy too? This means that even the littlest family members have a place to play and have fun!
