About this activity

If you want to get away with the family, why not enjoy a camping trip with a view! Searsport Shores Resort is RIGHT on the water - so much so that some of the pitch sites are right along the beach.

Enjoy that New England ocean spray!

Searsport Shores Resort is a great way to enjoy some family time together, with Maine Harbor at your fingertips, amazing local seafood nearby, water activities galore and a pretty fascinating history dating back to the 1800s!

You can park your RV along the ocean, or in a pull-through site. Pitch your tent in a shady spot or camp under a canopy of stars.

There are some super fun activities for the kids too! Kids - how do you like the sound of spending the day digging in the mud, hunting for buried treasure? Yep - we're talking about clamming! Then you can steam them over a campfire in the afternoon, and see what they taste like!

Over summer, kids can try out some art classes with artists in residence, and there is plenty of hiking in the area for those families who love to get out in the great outdoors, and enjoy some nature!

There are national parks nearby, which makes for a great day trip. You can eat Maine lobster on the shore, explore the tidal pools, or enjoy a game of basketball. You can even kayak right from the beach!

If you want solitude, there are 900 uninhabited acres on an easily accessible island, where you can spend the day hiking and exploring. Sounds pretty incredible!

An amazing New England campground giving you nature, ocean, and family fun!
