What is there to do?

Fancy going 60 million years back in time? Don't be intimidated, it can be FUN! Of course, we're talking about Rushmore Cave, which is a true treasure located in the Black Hills in South Dakota. It also happens to be a great place for families to visit on their day out!

The cave was created over 60 million years ago through erosion, water flow, and other natural events that led to such a marvel of nature - and lucky for you they were, because now you get to explore them!

Check out the amazing formations throughout the cave - from those icicle-like stalactites hanging from the ceilings, to the stalagmites rising from the rock floor. Experienced guides will take you around as part of the scenic cave tour. About 1 hour in length, and perfect for the family, you will learn all about the cave geology, history, and untold stories of what else lies beneath the surface!

BUT....Rushmore Cave is so much more than just a cave - it's an ADVENTURE! Have you ever experienced a zipline just after you have explored underground? As they say - it's fun on all levels! You can fly like an eagle that lets you fly 630 feet down the mountain side, but don't worry parents, they're on a suspended cable!

It's not your regular zipline in a harness - you sit in a properly formed seat which lets riders of ALL ages to share this amazing experience! How fun!

With fun gemstone mining, adventure tours and an 7-D interactive ride, there is certainly enough for you to do to fill an entire day!
