What is there to do?

"What is this rattle made of?" "What's a parfleche?" These are some of the questions you can hear shooting through the Red Earth Art Center as kids explore the exhibits!

Through unique exhibitions focusing on the Native American way of life, Red Earth Art Center features an extensive collection of American Indian artifacts, combined with ever-changing museum exhibitions, offering children with an incomparable experience they will remember for years to come.

Red Earth is home to more than 1000 items of traditional and contemporary fine art, as well as pottery, basketry, textiles and even beadwork. It's a wonderful way for children to gain an understanding and appreciation for cultures, traditions, and how communities used these items.

The displays are changed throughout the year, so you can enjoy new and interesting artifacts on your next visit!

Not only do the exhibits promote American Indian arts and cultures, but a premier festival is held, as well as fine art markets,  so you can really enjoy this unique cultural experience.
