Small hill, big fun. First timer. Didn’t know what to expect. Yes, it has a single lift and just 2 primary runs. And yes, the elevation and slope are both very modest. But there were no lines, no crazy snowboarders to dodge, and it was all so simple/enjoyable. I will go back. Great place to tune up the legs, skis and shake off the rust, especially if you find yourself in the vicinity as I did.

Went here last year and got snowboard lessons. Had an amazing instructor. Was enthusiastic and knew what he was talking about and could easily explain. Came back this year and to our disappointment the instructor we had was no longer there. Honestly I cannot blame him the place seems to have gone down. Still has the same feel at first but the instructor we got was just not good at all. He seemed like he was severely hung over possibly still drunk and you could smell the booze on him still. The guy in charge we met with that set us up with our instructor was not personable at all. He just did not seem like he was suited for the job he was given. We heard from others that he is the weekend boss which is good because I feel he was not someone that should have been there. The place used to be so great the employees just seemed to have gone down. Our friends were not impressed with their instructor either. I think they need to set some guidelines with them. Our friends said they think their instructor was “on something.” I hope they turn it around but until I here otherwise I think I will make my trip to Peak n’ Peak when I am in the area. Very sad to see this place go down I hope they turn it around

Used to love this place. Now it has gone down hill. Instructor was rude and seemed like he was on drugs. He did not explain anything right. I had my friend help me after and in 15 minutes I learned more from my friend then an hour in a lesson. I used to take ski lessons here and it was great. Fun and friendly. Wanted to switch to snowboarding so figured why not go where I started and it was not the same experience. I will not go back. The director was rude and not personable at all! I think this place needs to get some new employees. Also maybe keep a closer eye on them because later in the night I saw most of them up at the top hut drinking. That is very inappropriate for a family place. Kids should not see their instructors and ones they look up to getting drunk at there place of employment. I will not be going back and my friends and I are going to the Peak from now on. I would advise you all to do the same unless Mount Pleasant makes some changes.

This place has completely gone in the wrong direction. When I was waiting in the line for the lift, I overheard a guy yelling at a instructor for a reason I couldn’t understand, but I didn’t see the instructor doing anything wrong. This place needs to change.

I really love this little resort! The snow is always great and they are the best family place in the region. Wen I cann I get to talk to a person, not a robot as like Peak and Holiday Valley. I have 5 children, all who have taken lessons at Mount Pleasant and prefer them over Peak and Holiday Valley. We live in Cleveland and it is much closer than the other resorts, not to mention cheaper!!!! Can’t wait for this season!
