What is there to do?

Since 1990, over 1 million visitors have come to enjoy this fun and educational experience - thats a lot of fun that's been had!

Explorium of Lexington is a great way to inspire imagination and creativity within children of all ages.

There are a number of exhibits to really focus on certain elements of a childs growth - from coordination, senses, and imagination.

Have you ever wanted to enclose yourself in a giant bubble?  Now you can! Bubble zone allows you to create all the fun, shiny bubbles you want, and even experiment with different sizes and shapes.

The Natural Wonders gallery is devoted entirely to our planets inhabitants - from the earliest creatures to gain an understanding of evolution, to the rare creatures that inhabit our planet today.

There is a great interactive world map to teach kids about geography and the countries of the world, and an energetic "Lets Move" exhibit where kids can activate sounds and graphics projected onto the floor.

There are always fun special events held within the museum, and every Saturday and Sunday they have an engaging and creative staff led activity which changes every week (so you'll have to keep going back to see whats next!)

They also hold summer camps and inspiring art classes, and they also have a play area specifically designed for babies and children under 3 years of age.

Unfortunately the Emporium doesn't have anywhere to stop those rumbles within the building, but the good news is they are located very close to a range of yummy alternatives so it's always a great idea to grab some food before or after your visit.
