About Eco Station

Visitors to the STAR ECO Station experience incredible hands-on lessons of ecology and environmentalism plus breathtaking encounters with beautiful tropical birds, exotic reptiles, wildcats and ocean life in a tropical jungle setting.

Yes it's all about the animals here at the Eco Station!

Your experience at Eco Station will be in the form of a guided your. Here, you get a much deeper insight into the rescued creatures that call it home, as well as their environments. During your tour,  there's significant scope for educating the kids while they enjoy the exhibits.

Learning CAN be fun! The tours last from 45 to 60 minutes, and they are on a first-come, first-served basis. No need to reserve, however tours might sell out so just go prepared to wait for the next on that runs.

If you are celebrating a special day, they would love to help you host it too! They have fun party packages that can make that birthday super special AND a learning experience too!

Eco Station also offer fun Eco Camps for kids, all year round! They can befriend some of the world's most unusual creatures, learn about them, discovery some amazing things AND make new friends!

Doing our bit

The STAR Eco Station's mission is "Preservation through Education." It carries out this mission every day by educating students, visitors to the STAR Eco Station and community members about the preservation of our environment and the inter-dependence of all living things.

Any top tips when visiting?

Times and opening dates are subject to change without notice so check their website before you go, and call for the most up to date info

Does Eco Station have a gift shop?

Proceeds from sales go directly into the care and feeding of the ECO Station residents, the rescued animals.

Teachers corner

The Eco Station hosts field trips for schools and camps throughout Southern California as well as private tours for larger groups. Environmental education outreach programs in over 40 California school districts. Private group tours can be booked seven days a week, based on availability. Call our office for more details.

Is Eco Station fully accessible?

STAR Eco Station does not discriminate on the basis of disability and, upon reasonable advance notice, will work to provide reasonable accommodation to ensure equal access to its programs, services and activities. Let them know your plans to visit at least two weeks in advance so they can prepare
