This amazing West Virginia park is 4,000 acres of family fun, where you can really explore the beauty and adventure that nature has to offer. Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, Chief Logan State Park is a treasure trove of natural beauty and family-friendly activities.

For those active kids in the family, there are miles of hiking trails that will challenge you, and trails that allow you to just stroll and search for wildlife. The difficulty level is up to you! Whether you are looking for a challenging hike or a gentle walk, the park has something for everyone. Kids will love spotting deer, birds, and other wildlife that call the park home.

There is also an outdoor amphitheater, as well as a wildlife center if you want to learn all about what surrounds you. Great for kids! Those active kids will also love the swimming pool that of course comes with a super cool water slide, and there is even tennis and mini golf if you want something a bit more sporty!

Don't miss the playgrounds that are scattered throughout the park too. These are perfect for letting the little ones burn off some energy while you relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
