It's snow time at Cannon Mountain, so grab those ski goggles and gloves because we're off to the snow!
Cannon Mountain is a family friendly ski resort in New Hampshire where the whole family can spend a day on the slopes. Skiing and snow-boarding are of course, the popular activities, with routes actually open all year!
If you are a beginner and a bit nervous to hit the slopes straight away, why not take some lessons! They are available for those over 4 years in play style, then proper lessons for those kids over 6.
Cannon Mountain is unusual too, in that they are one of the few ski areas which actually have a dedicated learning and family area! Known as the "biggest little mountain in the area", there are 4 lifts and 13 trails which are designed and built JUST for families like you!
It's a big more of a relaxed experience from the "big mountain" - so its a great way to ease up to the big ski slopes!
Did we tell you about Saturday night yet? No? Well, we should because at Cannon Mountain that's family FUN night! Every saturday there is a mini park open under the lights, and age-appropriate moves for kids! There are even sometimes fireworks and torchlight parades - pretty cool!
Back to the main mountain, there is something for everyone. There are 21% green runs, 47% blue runs and for those wanting that great challenge, there are 32% black or higher. Do you think you have what it takes!
With ski programs for kids, and programs for adults, you really will find something fun for you to do at Cannon Mountain - and hopefully learn a few skills that you can show off next time!
