This is a nice place to spend a Saturday/Sunday afternoon. If you’re from out of town or some is visiting you I always take them to “Wings”. They have a huge variety of San Diego souvenirs for pretty affordable prices.I took my little (from Big Brothers Big Sisters) here for an afternoon and she loved it. We got the unlimited rides wristband and had a blast! You can see the ocean while on the roller coaster.

Belmont Park has been a part of San Diego for a long time. It’s probably more of a nostalgic experience than anything else. There really isn’t anything special about it. The food inside is pricey for what you get, even the rides and games aren’t cheap. To me, this is just a place to take your out-of-town visitors as you go down the boardwalk.

Had a great time here and didn’t break the bank. It was nice to enjoy the beach then some vintage rides on the boardwalk. Got lucky with parking but others weren’t so fortunate…bathroom area was gross but otherwise we had a blast!!

This beach area has easy access to the water ( if you can find parking) this is a family friendly area and kind to visitors from around the world. Only precaution I can share that seems to cause roadblock on the boardwalk is the flow for bicycles , even though certain areas have marked to pedestrians or bicycles there seems to be confusion every weekend when the crowds come in. When the sun is out bring an umbrella many visitors even locals forget to bring something to block the sun and getting a skin burn is never fun.
