Malden Miniature Railway

Malden Miniature Railway is well known and has been running passenger trains for all ages for 87 years! Enjoy the atmosphere of the railway and ride on the trains in the village of Thames Ditton in Surrey! 

The railway is run by a group of dedicated volunteers and the ground level railway is for large scale trains and the elevated railway for the smaller trains.

The open days run from Easter to October and open on the first Sunday of each month and on bank holidays, but check their events calendar so you know what happens! 

You'll also find a coffee van and an ice-cream van in nice weather so you can pick up a refreshments on your visit. Each ride is around four to ten minutes long and there's a picnic field too where you can watch the trains go past and relax!

If you wanted to have a large family gathering you can also bring a gazebo if you need it! It's a great space to get outside with the family.
