The Musical Museum tells the incredible story of how people have captured and listened to music over the last four enturies! You can see the tiny music boxes, an array of instruments and inventions and find out how music was recorded and reproduced.
There's a huge collection of working instruments and interactive exhibits, from mechanical inventions to the present day. There are three unique galleries plud a concert hall, shop and cafe and the volunteers offer guided tour that combine practical demonstrations and lots of education too!
Learn how music was captured and powered and hear the sounds of self-playing instruments too! For the little ones there are detective trails and activities that run during the school holidays too.
They have a variety of permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as lots of seasonal events so make sure you check out the website before you visit so you know what's happening!
They also offer live concerts too, with spectacular views over the rive from the onsite cafe.
