Kilnworx Climbing Centre

About this activity

Kilnworx Climbing Centre is an indoor climbing centre where you can top rope, lead and boulder your way around. From kids clubs, parties and sessions, there's lots of climbing activities for all ages and abilities. 

The centre has a vast number of routes covering different grades and challenges and theyre all in roation with just one or two well loved lines staying for longer. Lengths are from 8 to 15 metres and there are top ropes and lead lines on all walls. The central climbing wall is the favourite, with great climbs, slabs, overhangs and more. 

The traversing wall is the perfect wall for getting into climbing, building techniques and warming up, so if you are new to climbing this would be the perfect wall to get started. 

The back wall offers head wall expsure and a high crux and the side wall and has even more over hangs and slabs to get to grips with climbing before heading on to the taller walls. 

In total there are 134 routes, 24 lines, 11 metres high, 2.5 metres of overhangs and abseil platforms too! 

Every weekend they have a kids rock club, where children aged 6 - 16 years can enjoy one hour of indoor rock climbing with an experience instructor. It's a great way to make new friends, develop your clmbing skills and work towards some of the awards too!
