Attingham Park features an 18-century estate wth 200 acres of parkland to explore. There's lots of family-friendly activities, trails and things to see inside the house itself.
As you wander around the park there's lots of natural play to keep the little ones entertained. From fallen tree trunks to muddy paths and logs and streams, it's a great chance to reconnect with nature. The visitor reception also has a sensory bag too which help provide visitors with sensory difficulties the chance to explore easily.
On your visit there's lots of popular animals and wildlife, from the fallow deer, to birds, robins and much more. Enjoy a walk around the restored Walled Garden too and spot what's in the kitchen garden, orchard and grounds.
Inside the house you can discover the stories of the people who made the estate, take in the rooms such as the dining room, sultana room and picture gallery and even take part in a book tour or studio tour.
There's plenty of trails and walks too of varying lengths. From short circular walks learning about the historic trees, to wildlife walks and river walks, there's lots to choose from.
On B4380, 4 miles south-east of Shrewsbury, follow brown directional signage to the main gates and on to one way access drive through front parkland.
