About Orillia Museum of Art and History

The Orillia Museum of Art and History showcases the best of Orillia and Lake Country's culture and history through local and nationally significant exhibitions. You'll also fid lots of educational programs for both young and older visitors to get their imaginations going! 

At the museum you'l find lots of programs for all ages to enjoy. The Winter Wonder Camp is something to entertain the kids whilst they're not at school. It's filled with exciting art projects, enaging hands-on activities, outdoor play and a mini art show with the fabulous instructors.

On the third Saturday of each month they also have lots of fun workshops for the whole family. Each class will offer a new theme and expert who will guide the groups in a fun projects or activity. Make sure to check the website to stay up to date with what's happening!

There are over 17,000 artefacts whch illustrate the heritage of Orillia and the surrounding area and features documents, photos and works and so much more. They reflect the natural and human history of the area and feature individuals who has an impact on the the city of Orillia itself.
