We only went for apple picking and checked out the entrance area of Downey’s farm. The apples are great. However I really dislike the way the ponies are treated at the pone ride. They are walking circled all day long. To animal, that is really a punishment. It is probably also dizzy to do so. I’m sure this huge farm can find a different area and create a path to let them walk freely with supervisor

We took our kids in mid-August and there was no attendant in the booth selling admission tickets. The play area and animals were fun for our toddlers. It was surprisingly empty for mid-August. The corn and baked goods we purchased in the shop were horrible!! The corn was tasteless, the bread was dry and the muffins tasted like cardboard. In my opinion, Springridge and Chudleigh’s are much better

Nice farm. The guy operating the wine desk was miserable and rude to customers.

Went to the farm during the first weekend of Halloween and my 2 year old child loved it. The animals (goats, sheep, ponies, ducks, cows) were great, my child touched and was able to pet and feed all of them. The little rides and amusements were also great, there were so many of them we didn’t get to see everything in 3 hours and my child wanted to repeat everything. Wagon ride was ok, corn maze is really for children 10+. Lots of photo opportunities. The haunted room was too scary for my 2 year old but would be perfect for most kids (less than 10). A fun time with the family.
