Rapids Waterpark West Palm Beach
Where are we going today?
SPLASH! What's that sound? Yep - it's those families making a SPLASH at Rapids Water Park in South Florida. What better way to cool off in summer!?
Rapids Water Park is filled with water fun activities for the entire family, so whether it's lazy rivers or thrilling slides, there is something for everyone!
Want to know the categories for the rides? Well, they have the BIGGEST thrill rides, then the COOLEST thrill rides, and then the WETTEST thrill rides...which one will you pick first!?
Let's start with the BIGGEST!
If you head some screams, you might just be close to Big Thunder, where you will take a sharp turn through a very dark tunnel before heading down a 45 degree drop on your multi-person raft (a true family experience!)
Black Thunder gives you twists and turns in a dark vortex tunnel, and the Riptide Raftin is the one family ride in the entire WORLD that sends four people rocketing through a HUGE 10 foot wide flume of twists, turns and banks...all before a HUGE splashdown. FUN!
Then we have the COOLEST thrill rides! Body Blasters lets you blast through 1,000 feet of enclosed flume with no mats, no tubes - just YOU!
Pirate Plunge is certainly not for the faint hearted, where you can feel the earth drop right out from under your feet! Old Yellar gives you four different versions of slides to try, but you might want to travel in the dark, endure multiple spins or try that splash drop landing - just some of the adventures the other rides give you!
Of course, Rapids Water Park has a host of other water activities for the whole family, from wave pools, to fun splash areas and lots of interactive experiences.
South Florida has never been so cool!

The water park is a great way to celebrate and cool down with the students! They offer group rates for 20 or more, and have a fun Cool School Day in May where it's ALL just for students! Make sure you book ahead.
There are two full service snack bars, a grill and lots of tasty treats to fill those tummies! Burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and pizza to name a few!.
They have bottled water, as well as sandwiches and wraps.
Any Top Tips?
If you want to re-enter the park, make sure you get your hand stamped!.
Doing our bit
They love keeping you safe, so some of the rides have height restrictions on them. Make sure you help them out by sticking to these! They also have life vests at no extra charge.
Need a little extra help?
Speak to guest services when you arrive and they can help you out with whatever you need.
Can I get one of those?
Why not have your birthday at Rapids! They have fun birthday packages so you can celebrate with a COOL birthday day!.
Its worth noting that the park is only open WEEKENDS from Sept to Nov weather permitting. .

If you live within an hour of this place, I would definitely recommend going at least once. Honestly seems better to get the season pass for $129. You almost pay half of that for one visit. I went the day before it was closing, and the temperature was low for us so it was really empty. Was able to pretty much do everything twice in under 2 hours. Then it became boring quick. Definitely enjoyed myself, and 2 of the rides were extremely fun. But at the end of the day, the prices of everything are pretty much high as expected. The good thing is the...Read More

Fun place but over priced and shitty staff. I don't mind spending a lot of money for a fun time. I had a blast there, there is plenty to do but the managers are the worst kind of people. Rude and distasteful. The younger staff like the lifeguards, are friendly and energetic while the higher ups, are nasty. I would go again if I didn't have to deal with those kinds of people. I am never coming back.

This place is not as Good as advertisements says... if you are overweight more than 250 forget about riding the best ride the park has.... they will weight you before they let you go on the ride which is typically after you waited 1 hour doing the line.. If they made a ride they should make sure everyone is allow to ride it... Some one should stand up and sue this institution for what they are doing... The lines are huge and the park is not that big you should consider visiting Orlando FL before going to this POS they have the best parks..

The good thing is the re-entry because if you want you can leave for lunch and then come back. But they charge the same price as Wet N' Wild but you're not able to bring food/drinks/coolers in and they don't have the same quantity of quality rides. So if the price was lower I'd rate them higher. $10 to park too by the way.
