Where are we going today?

We all know that Old McDonald had a farm...but did you know that Old McDebbie has one to, and she is so excited for families to visit!

Old McDebbie's Farm is located in Washington State, and has a host of super sweet animals just waiting for kids to go and say hello! And moo, and eeyore, and baa...and even cluck!

This seasonal farm is great family fun, and gives kids the chance to really experience those barnyard animals. They will love coming face to face with creatures short and tall, from the weird to the wonderful!

Have you ever seen those playful goats in action, or experienced the long face of those beautiful horses? The great things about the creatures at Old McDebbie's Farm, is that they are all used to people, especially children. They are very family friendly - and LOVE having their pictures taken!

Kids can find a variety of animals at this family farm, including horses, chickens, goats, and even a camel or two!

There even might be a surprise or two! Did you know that you don't have to venture to Australia to encounter a wallaby? They are there too!

Kids can enjoy pony rides, which are a great way for them to really get used to the animals, and even a train ride which is a great bit of excitement in their day.

The family can even spend some quality time fishing together!

Old McDonald?....there's a new farm in town!

I was watching our grandkids a couple weeks ago on a Saturday. They are 9, 8, and 4 years old. I took them to Old McDebbie's Farm as it was a beautiful, sunny day. The kids loved petting all the animals and seeing them up close. After seeing the animals I took them fishing and they caught their first fish. It was great to see them enjoying the outdoors, animals, and fishing and NOT playing video games or watching TV. Great place to take your kids and I think also a great place for adults to enjoy too!

Such a fun place! The only thing I wish is that they had more advertising so people can know about this place!! I got to hold a day old baby goat, interacted with lemurs, fed wallaby's (I believe that's what the tiny kangaroo's are called) held baby bunnies, it was just so refreshing :) It's $5 a person and you can bring in vege's to feed the animals, the owners are very kind, it's definitely worth a visit, and tell all your friends!! :)

Alex (6) caught one trout and so did Jaimie (4). They had never caught fish before. My wife, who had never tried trout before called it "the best dinner we've had in a long time." They clean the fish.

They have a lot of animals in the petting zoo - pigs, goats, emu and ostrich, peacocks and chickens. The kids had never seen a camel before. Jaimie rode the pony. I don't know what the deal is with little girls and ponies, but I'm going to be the best dad ever for the rest of the day.

The family was gracious and casual. Real easy going folks....Read More
