I have been here with my family quite a few times and enjoyed it each time. It is a very fun event and the food is actually pretty good for such a massive operation. Keep in mind there are no utensils so you WILL get a little dirty eating your meal, but that is part of the fun. Also make sure you get there about an hour or more before your show time so you can see the saloon show. They have an AMAZING band that performs a very entertaining mix of music and comedy, definitely worth getting there early.

I went last night to the 6pm show the saloon was packed even arriving 1hr early so make sure you get there earlier but besides that the whole saloon and main event was awesome so was the food. Oh ya if your not done with your soup the first time the waiter or waitress come through to pick up your bowl make sure you leave it on your plate.

Hi my day May 19,2014 at the 6PM show I love the dinner and the show but this time which is probably the 8 or 9 thru the years I was not happy first of all instead of a bowl of soup which is the best the server gave us only 1/2 of bowl he was in such a rush we didnt have our food eaten when he was taking up the dishes of course we let him have them after they were in his hand. The apple turnover i got to eat maybe 3 bits before he asked for the plate this has never happened in all the times i have been there so the dinner wasnt enjoyed very much...Read More

Food was great, everything was hot and had excellent flavor. We were so full from all the other delicious food we had on vacation that we almost couldn't stomach any more, and that's really saying something about the food in Tennessee! The show was nice, I enjoyed watching the riders and the fun competitions. Some was a little cheesy for my taste, but all in all, it was a great experience.

I dont know if i will visit the Dixie Stampede again or not. I will tell anyone else who ask how it was to take a chance on enjoying the dinner it may be better or just like it was for us not. Have a nice day. Jackie Mattingly
