Where are we going today?

Who's ready to get SOAKED in Adventure Island's 30 acres of water-drenched fun? This Florida water park has a great combination of high-speed thrills and tranquil settings. So no matter if this is your first time in water or you're a pro from way back, then there is something for you!

Adventure Island has a great collection of slides, which you will want to go on again...and again...and again!

The NEW Colossal Curl is the newest corkscrew thrill, so why not start your thrills off with a bang? There are a number of slides that you can ride with a friend, such as the Aruba Tuba or the Calypso Coaster, so it's great fun to share the squeals and turns with them!

The Runaway Rapids give you 5 different options to choose from, the Riptide takes you down a 55 foot DROP, and the Key West Rapids take you through 700 feet of twists, turns and gnarly slopes! Do you dare?

But as we said, Adventure Island has a number of more gentle water attractions and activities for you. There is paradise in Paradise Lagoon, and the always fun Splash Attack with it's maze of water fun and a very surprise center piece!

If you want the lazy river experience, then head to Rambling Bayou where you can relax on your very own tube and take in the sights of the park!

If you want to enjoy some dry land, then head on over to Spike Zone where you can kick back and play some sand volleyball! You don't need to head to the ocean to feel like you're really on a beach!

Great water fun for everyone! Thrills, slides, fountains, pools to splash about it and plenty of surprises, Florida has never been so COOL with Adventure Island!

I went to the park on a Saturday afternoon so I can't complain about the long lines and huge crowd. I paid $47 after taxes because of a AAA discount. The ticket buying process was quite lengthy because other guests take forever in deciding which ticket they'd like to buy, which can get really annoying. A good selection of rides but some of the bigger rides made out of wood felt a little unsteady, especially with the huge lines of people. Despite the fact that this water park is small it has plenty to do for anyone from thrill seekers to the folks looking to relax. This park is older and sun faded but well kept up. The parking lot is quite small (unlike bigger amusement parks) so leaving a cooler ect in the car is doable and a great idea. While the food isn't tremendously expensive it isn't cheap either. Do wear crocs (allowed) or swim shoes as the pavement/parking lot is very hot.
Make sure you have your directions right. Have a great time and sunblock is your friend.

I ❤️ adventure island, and I think it is a great way to interact with your family. I think it is better than Busch Gardens because during the summer in Florida it gets super hot. And at adventure island the rides are full of water and they're a couple of fun pools too!!! You should definitely go there!!!

A good selection of rides but some of the bigger rides made out of wood felt a little unsteady, especially with the huge lines of people. The wave pool was okay although I do have my doubts about the cleanliness of the water, especially since you can smell that the water is sour and a lot of hair is floating around. I guess that is to be expected for a waterpark that caters to families. Overall I had a good time and would visit again.
