Aquatica Florida is much more than a theme park. It's also much more than just an aquarium. In fact...it's BOTH!
This fun Florida attraction really does have something for the whole family, and then some! First, let us tell you about those scary thrill rides (scary depending on how brave you are, of course!)
You can speed down massive tunnels on Omaka Rocka, or plunge over the edge of the flume in your raft on the HooRoo Run!
Taumata Racer lets you compete against your friends on some very colorful slides, or you can take on Tassie's Twisters - if you dare! It might be like going down the plughole!
If you REALLY want to challenge yourself, how about heading down the Walhalla Wave, which is only SIX stories high. Yep! And then there is what most people consider the highlight - the Dolphin Plunge. You just slide your way through a clear tube slide, through the dolphin pool! What an amazing sight to see how beautiful creatures waving to you as you make your way to the bottom!
Of course, Aquatica Florida is a family park, so there are those attractions perfect for all ages. Walkabout Waters is an endless sea of fun for those adventurous kids, and there are fun river rapids or huge sandy beaches to enjoy. In fact, Aquatica has something very unique at the Big Surf Shores. You see, they have the ONLY two wave pools side by side in the entire USA. Now THAT's pretty cool!
Of course, Aquatica Florida isn't just rides. There are some beautiful creatures that are waiting to say hello. Those dolphins of course (that you can slide through!) and the giant African Spurred Tortoise.
With dining and shopping also within the park, you will certainly need a full day to see it all!
