What is there to do?

Discover your wild side at ZooAmerica in Hershey! This 11 acre zoo is open year round, and the great news is if you have tickets to Hershey Park, that admission includes ZooAmerica too! (Of course, you can purchase tickets just for ZooAmerica if you like too)

ZooAmerica is home to over 200 animals, all native to the five regions of North America. Most zoos are filled with animals from all across the globe, from Africa, to Asia and even Antarctia. However, ZooAmerica shows you that the most wonderful of animals can befound right on your doorstep.

Kids, what kind of creatures do you think live in the dry deserts of the southwestern USA? Find out at ZooAmerica! What kindo of wildlife do you think can be found in the rural regions of Mexico? Find out at ZooAmerica! What beautiful mammals might be found in the forests of Alaska, or the Canadian tundra? You guessed it - find out at ZooAmerica!

Marvel at the colorful Arizona Mountain Kingsnake, or the beauty of the Ocelot. Come face to face with an impressive Black Bear, or see what a Snapping Turtle looks like up close.

The Watering Hole and Timber Treats are great spots to grab a bite to eat. You can also quench your thirst at the Pepsi Freeze Zone, all open seasonally.

Where is it at?


There is free parking at the zoo, but if that is full just use the Parking Garage at The Hershey Press Building which is also free.

Teachers corner


They love group tours and educating kids, so make sure you give them a call to arrange a field trip!

Can I get one of those?


The gift shop is located in the Admissions Building, and features a wide selection of fun and friendly items including plush animals, gifts, and more!

All of the exhibits are stroller and wheelchair accessible! If you do have any questions about accessibility, just give them a call they will be happy to help
