Waterloo, IA Water Fun Unclaimed

About The Lost Island

Feeling...COOL!? You certainly will be if you visit The Lost Island in Waterloo, Iowa! This family friendly waterpark has fun for the whole family, from thrilling rides to lazy rivers. One thing is for sure...they will all cool you down on your summer days!

The Lost Island has a host of attractions for all ages, and not just water based! There are so many major water slides you won't know where to start! Perhaps it's the Wailya Kupua - a hydromagnetic coaster of which there are only a few in the WORLD (make sure you hold on tight!), or perhaps you want to race with your friends on Ta Katipo!

You can raft as a family down the Calypso Cascade, or swirl around and around in a vortex like ride with Tangerine Tempest. From the vertical drop of Lost Soul Falls, or the fun of Emerald Adventure Rapids, those adrenaline loving kids in the family certainly have their choice of adventure!

For those smaller kids in the family, don't worry because there are plenty of things to do at The Lost Island perfect for their needs. Blue Iguana Lagoon for Kids features shallow wading pools, with kid friendly slides and fun water features to play in, and Starfish Cove is a shallow island with spouting whales, clownfish and mini slides...perfect for their imagination to take them under the ocean!

Then of course, The Lost Island has those non-water attractions which the family love! Spend time with some friendly family competition at Adventure Golf, or take to the tracks on the Go-Karts - a great way to get behind the wheel in a safe environment! Finally, the Flying Gecko Zipline makes for a great chance to push yourself to do something a little more scary (but we all know you can do it!)

Water fun and adventure all round at this Iowa waterpark! Make a SPLASH!
