Science IS fun, and that's exactly what kids find out at the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium in Waterloo!
Described as a 'playground for the imagination', this very family-friendly interactive science center offers fun hands-on exhibits that demonstrate how science affects everyday life, and a place where kids can learn through discovery, creativity and experimentation.
Part of the Grout Museum District, the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium features a number of exhibits and opportunities for families and kids to learn and experiment with physics, light, sound, momentum and other scientific concepts.
Have you ever pet a 12ft python, or fired an air cannon? At this fun Imaginarium you can! Kids can create their own laser show, and even explore that curiosity they have about physical science.
In fact, there are a whopping 91 hands-on exhibits for kids, including numerous animals that call it home (that's where the python comes in!)
You can use your imagination to build futuristic machines and creatures, and even make them go, or watch 10,000 volts of electricity pass through the body - and you don't even feel a thing!
Kids can find out how hot air rises as they operate the controls of a hot air balloon, and discover why ice skaters can spin so fast without falling!
Are you ready to explore the wonderful world of science at the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium?
