However, I returned to Fun City yesterday, with the sole purpose of taking the family to Huck’s Harbor. $7 for a day pass at a fun indoor water park is a great deal! That is, until I walked in. Last year they completely renovated, it would seem. I understand, they said they were having moisture issues in the rooms around the water area. However, they took the small area that used to hold the 2 small waterslides, and made that the only indoor water area. They turned the main area into a 3 story ball play area. Neat, for sure, but not what we came for.The new indoor water park consists of a small water playground (1 double slide about 2 feet tall, and 1 circular slide about 4 feet tall). It has a lot of water falling down from above, but it falls HARD. My 2 and 6 yo said it hurt. There was no way to get on the play structure without getting water dumped on you. I even felt it was quite powerful and uncomfortable. They also included a small lazy river with inner tubes. This, I liked. The price seemed just too much for what we got. I know $7 isn’t much, but that’s how much we used to pay for triple that amount of indoor play. If we hadn’t built it up to our children, and they weren’t so looking forward to this, I wouldn’t have stayed and paid that price.I was very disappointed.
