Who said all of the family fun needs to be ABOVE ground? Perry's Cave Family Fun Center is a great mixture of both above AND below ground adventure!
It's called Perry's Cave - so let's start right there! Perry's Cave is a registered Ohio National Landmark, so you know it's going to be really special! Here, you can venture 52ft below the surface of South Bass Island, and explore this incredible natural wonder.
The cave was discovered back in 1813, but it was actually formed over millions and millions of years! Here, kids can really see some incredible natural formations such as the stalactites and stalagmites, and even cave pearls clutching the cave walls.
Don't miss the impressive underground lake too, where the water rises and falls as Lake Erie does.
But we did say that Perry's Cave Family Fun Center is above ground fun too, so let's explore there! How about spending some time with over 50 different types of colorful butterflies from all over the world in the Butterfly House. With 4,000 sq ft to explore, kids can move around this aviary as these amazing creatures fly freely around them!
Mini golf next as you can try and navigate the 18 holes of mini golf, and learn some history along the way! Kids can learn all about the war of 1812 as they make their way through the shady trees and flowers, and even a waterfall cave!
Keeping with the cave theme kids can also try the hands-on experience of gemstone mining, where kids can try and find their fortune with REAL gemstones and fossils, or they can scale new heights with the rock wall.
Did we mention there is a giant maze too?

There is Dan Dee's Snack Shack where you can fill up on burgers hot dogs, ice cream, fries and more! Open May to Sept only.

Check the opening times for all of the attractions as they each are different. There is a different admission for each too, but you can get combo tickets to save money
