The National Blues Museum is located at 615 Washington Ave in the hub of St. Louis’s convention and tourism district. In walking distance of each of the city’s major league sports stadiums and with an adjacent public transportation link within a block, NBM finds its groove amid a wide variety of concerts, events, and Convention Center visitors.
Street and garage parking are available in several lots throughout downtown St. Louis.
The closest paid lot is an open air lot located at 6th Street and Lucas located behind the museum. There is also a parking garage located on 7th street and Washington and another parking lot located behind the museum at 6th and Convention Plaza. These lots all take credit card and a few will also accept cash. Street metered parking is limited in front of the museum on Washington Ave and on 6th street.

Grab something to eat in the area, there are plenty of places - you're in St. Louis after all! The Museum does not allow food or drink of any kind to be consumed inside both the permanent and temporary exhibition space.
The National Blues Museum frequently has live music in their listening room, the Legends Room!
Group admission ticket discounts are available for groups of 15 or more. Reservations are required. Please email [email protected] to book. It's a great way for students to learn about music and history!
The Museum is wheelchair accessible. Eliminating barriers to accessibility within the Museum is paramount in allowing all optimum access to the Museum experience.
