About this activity

History, art & science all come to life at the Morris Museum, which not only feature fascinating collections on everything from dinosaurs to American Indian history, but they also have changing exhibits too (so you can see something new on your next visit!)

But let's explore the collections!

Kids can gain a deeper understanding of the rich American Indian heritage through a range of pottery, carving, basketry and textile from the Southwest, American Plains and beyond!

The wonderful world of wildlife is waiting at Morris Museum, with a mammal gallery featuring examples of skeletons and taxidermy - keep an eye out for their famous grizzly bear!

Train enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy the romance of the rails in the Model Railroad Gallery, with model trains across three separate tracks, complete with hands-on fun where kids can imagine themselves as the engineer, lifting an arm and tugging on a whistle!

Discovery what's UNDER your feet in the Rocks and Minerals gallery, considered one of the best geological collections in New Jersey, and check out 750 historic mechanical musical instruments and mechanical figures!

There is SO much to see, do and learn at the Morris Museum, so why don't we get this adventure started?
