A museum JUST for kids where they can play, learn, explore, discover, have fun and just be themselves? Well, welcome to the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum!

All of the exhibits focus on early learning, science, music, art, community, and allow kids to develop those very important foundational skills!

The exhibits also ensure kids can spend their hours exploring, building, pretending, collaborating, and creating.

The Early Learning Junction is suited for kids up to 4 years of age, ensuring they are ready for their first days at school!

The Science Center is all about STEM, developing those and to make those connections with the world around them. There are exhibits on flight, rockets, magnetism, and building, it's here kids are encouraged to problem solve and collaborate! 

Active kids will love the WonderDome too, which is an immersive play space featuring nine interactive sensory exhibits involving lights and color. 

LOVE construction? Those future engineers and builders in the family should head to Imagination Playground! Using the big blue blocks, kids can build anything they like, from robots, to rocket ships, and even animals. 

Tell Me A Story develops those literacy skills, and RiverTown is all about role play! Kids can create in the art studio, be a baker in the bakery, be a hero in the fire truck, and so much more in the Hudeon Valley kiddie town.

Many special events are held throughout the year celebrating any number of seasonal and cultural wonders, always aimed at families, so keep an eye out for those too!
