What is there to do?

People visiting the museum will get to view up to the minute scientific research displayed on interactive exhibits for older kids to use as an educational resource. Also features reguar symposiums, exhitions and events.

While families are welcome it's largely aimed at over 8s, though hands-on activities are offered from 12noon to 4pm most weekends.

Need a little extra help?

The museum is wheelchair accessible throughout its lobby and exhibit spaces, includes a unisex companion care restroom, and has accessible fire exit ramps. Service animals and powered wheelchairs are allowed in the museum. In addition, the museum has a wheelchair available upon request and free of charge.


When can we go?

10am to 6pm daily, closed Tuesdays. Last admission at 5pm.


Any top tips?

Though there are hands on features sometimes it's not in any to be mistaken for a children's museum or similar, this is a serious education stop. - Fun things to do with kids and best places to visit in the US
