Silverlining’s Animal Rescue is the nonprofit affiliate of L&R Alpaca Haven Farm. We accept donations for the care of the animals at the farm. Rescued-to-date are 31 alpacas, 3 donkeys, 2 livestock guardian dogs, 25+ chickens, and 2 cats.
Dress accordingly. Will be outside in the Georgia sun. The farm has grass, trees, dirt, and a barn. Best options are comfortable clothes that are layered if you get too hot or chilly: T-shirts with light jackets, and sneakers. Most people wear T-shirts, shorts, jeans, or yoga pants, and sneakers or sandals.
We have hands-on projects in our focus areas of agriculture, animal rescue, and healthy living.
